Happy Friday! Our class is officially done with testing this week and we are going to celebrate big next week! Next week is a busy week for us at LCEU with our Columbia Fireflies game on Wednesday and our Gator Games (field day) on Friday. For our Fireflies game, students are encouraged to wear an LCEC shirt and a hat of their choice, and to apply sunscreen before coming to school that day. Students will get a meal at the ballpark that will consist of a hot dog, chips and a water.
For our field day, students may wear their bathing suits for the inflatable water slides but must keep clothing on top of their bathing suit. Students will have an opportunity before lunch to change out of wet clothing so a plastic grocery bag would be great to store wet clothes in for the ride home. If you have any questions about our upcoming festivities, please do not hesitate to ask. Paper communication concerning the Fireflies game will come home today in the communication folders.
