Our class had a very productive week considering our unexpected absence due to Hurricane Irma. Thankfully our state was spared for the most part, allowing students and myself to only miss 1 day of instruction. The highlight of our week came on Wednesday when 3rd graders participated in Sensitivity Training with our Guidance Counselor, Jessica Skinner. This is an event that aims at making students of LCEU more aware of students with disabilities or learning challenges. As you can imagine, the students of room C115 have developed a new respect for students who face such challenges when they found themselves in numerous simulations of varying disabilities.
