We had a wonderful week and ended our week with a Valentine Celebration and Guest Speaker visit. We had the pleasure of listening to Ms. Gervonder Brown come and share her Gullah customs and traditions with our class. All the way from John's Island in Charleston, South Carolina, Ms. Brown told stories and sang songs. She even taught us a few. Our speaker aligns perfectly with our social studies content. A great end to our week! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to another great week at Lake Carolina Upper Campus!
