Dear Parents and Families,

Happy Friday! I am currently writing my blog from home due to my son having
the flu. I hope to return by Monday. Looking ahead to next week, we have a half
day dismissal on Friday, February 14th. Our class is going to exchange Valentines
on Friday. I have a list of names above of every student in our class. The only thing
I ask it that if your child does plan to bring Valentines, that he/she bring one for
everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I pray you stay well and warm!

Weekly Update for February 3rd-7th, 2020

Dear Parents and Families,

Happy Friday!  We had a wonderful week in the classroom and the highlight of the week was definitely watching my students be recognized on the morning show for their academic accomplishments.  Honor Roll recognition on Thursday was a tremendous reward for hard work and effort for the second quarter.  With the second quarter behind us, I discussed at length with the class today the need to continue to strive for excellence with nightly studying and the consistent use of the online resources I sent out earlier in the year to utilize at home. Weekly Update for January 27th-31st, 2020

Dear Parents and Families,

Happy Friday!  How is it already the last week of of the first month of 2020?  The last few weeks have flown by and our class is making awesome progress.  Today Communication folders are coming home and inside them you will find your student's report card.  Please keep the report card for your records, and sign the sleeve it came in and return that back to me in the Communication folder.  If you would like to speak to me about your student's grades, please don't hesitate to reach out, I am only an email or phone call away.  Our edible rock making activities went wonderful this week, below I am going to share a few pics.  Have a great weekend and I am looking forward to another great week here at LCEU!

Dear Parents and Families,

Happy Friday!  I hope you and your student are enjoying the day off from school.  I am currently working diligently on grades as our 2nd quarter comes to an end.  Grades will be finalized by this afternoon.  Report cards will go home on Friday, January 24th.  Looking ahead to next week, Class picture day will be Wednesday, January 22nd.  Order forms for the pictures went home Thursday in the communication folders.  I hope you all enjoy the long weekend, there will be no school on Monday in honor of the Dr.Martin Luther King holiday.  Have a great weekend!

Weekly Update for January 13th-17th, 2020

Dear Parents and Families,

Happy Friday!  We all survived the first week back at school, I know we all are tired but we survived!  The class and I worked to catch up with needed grades and we will do so next week as well. Next Friday is the last day of the 2nd nine weeks and I promise to have grades finalized by Friday.  Today Communication folders went home and for our female students, there is a ticket form for the upcoming Father/Daughter dance.  The actual date of the dance is Friday. February 7th from 5:30 to 7:30.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to another great week at LCEU!
