Dear Parents and Families,
We did it! We officially made it to the last week of school. Monday and Tuesday will be regular days, but Wednesday and Thursday will be half day dismissals, and Friday will be the first official day of summer. Report Cards will go home in Communication Folders on Wednesday. If you have any unpaid library fines or school fees, please take care of those this week before school ends. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I am looking forward to spending these precious last days with your students!

Weekly Update for May 27th-31st, 2019
Dear Parents and Families,
Happy Friday! We are officially in the single digits in regards to the remaining days of school this year. After today we have 8 days of school left, with the last two being half days. It's hard to believe this year is almost over, this year has flown by! The next days will be filled with fun activities to celebrate the wonderful year we had. I hope you all enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend!

Weekly Update for May 13th-17th, 2019
Dear Parents and Families,
Happy Friday! Thank you all so much for your kind emails and gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week. I have been thoroughly spoiled and I can promise you I feel very appreciated. I am so blessed to be your child's teacher this year and I am not looking forward to having to say goodbye in a few weeks. Looking ahead to next week, we have SC Ready Testing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep and eats a nutritious breakfast before leaving the house. Weekly Update May 6th-10th, 2019
Dear Parents and Families,
Happy Friday! I hope you all are doing well and enjoying this beautiful Spring weather! Next week, I will begin some test prep with the students to prepare for the upcoming SC Ready state assessment. I know the students are prepared but I do want to refresh skills that were taught at the beginning of the year so that my students are confident on our testing days. If you have signed up to send in snacks, thank you and feel free to go ahead and send those in. Some of you already have! Weekly Update for April 22nd-26th, 2019
Dear Parents and Families,
Happy Friday! We did it, we made it to Spring Break! I know we are all looking forward to a week with a much more relaxed schedule. Whether your traveling or staying here, I hope you all a Happy and Restful Spring Break! We will return on Monday, April 22nd. When we do return, we will hit the ground running as we will only have 7 more weeks of school! We're almost to summer!

Weekly Update
Dear Parents and Families,
Happy Friday! We are officially one week away from Spring Break and the excitement can already be felt in the classroom. Next week will wrap up our Spring MAP testing on Tuesday with the Math portion being completed. The ELA portion was completed this week and I am very proud of the progress I am seeing being made. Our week will end with a half day dismissal on Friday at 11:30. When we return, we will continue with our units of study in fractions, the Civil War and Matter. I hope you have a great weekend and I look forward to another great week of learning at LCEU!
